ENDOCRINE GLANDS
The endocrine glands include the pineal, hypothalamus, pituity, thyroid, adrenalin, pancreas, reproductive gland, ovaries, testes and the pancreas.
Pituity gland= Called the master gland as it controls most other glands.
Thyroid= Produces hormones that control the rate at which cells burn fuels from food to produce energy.
Adrenal= Triangle glands which cover the top of each Kidney. The glands produce adrenalin and other hormones.
Pancreas= Produces and secretes digestive enzymes such as insulin or glucagon.
Testes= Produces hormones that are related to sex, reproduction and sexual development.
pancreas= Works together with other glands and hormones to maintain the proper level of glucose in your blood.
ovaries= Included in sexual functions and produces estrogen.
testes= Also included in sexual function and produces testosterone.
