Hormones produced by the pancreas
The hormones produced by the pancreas are the insulin and glucagon. Both of these hormones circulate around the body, targeting certain body parts.
-
insulin= Insulin plays a key part in the function of your metabolism. It regulates how the body stores glucose and fats.
-
glucagon= The pancreas release glucagon when glucose levels fall in your blood. Glucagon causes the liver to convert stored glycogen into glucose, which is released into the bloodstream.
